A Bible Reading Journey

God’s Word. Yours to Keep. Yours to Read.

There is no greater treasure than the Word of God. The Bible is more than a book — it’s the living, breathing truth of God’s heart, written for you. It teaches, corrects, encourages, and transforms.

Whether you’re a new believer or someone seeking daily guidance, having a Bible in your hands is the first step toward growing deeper in your faith.

A Bible Reading Journey: One-Year Plan for New Believers

Grow your faith, one chapter at a time.

Starting your walk with Christ is the most important decision you’ll ever make — and reading the Bible is one of the best ways to grow in your relationship with Him. The Bible is God’s Word: a love letter, a guidebook, and a foundation for life.

If you’re a new believer wondering “Where do I begin?” — this blog is for you. We’ve put together a simple, manageable plan that will take you through the entire Bible in one year, with daily readings that are balanced, clear, and spiritually enriching.

Why a Bible Reading Plan Matters

Reading randomly can be confusing. But with a structured plan:

  • You’ll understand the full story of God — from Genesis to Revelation.
  • You’ll learn how Jesus is revealed throughout all Scripture.
  • You’ll build a daily habit that strengthens your faith.
  • You’ll grow in wisdom, discernment, and confidence in God’s promises.

“Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation.” — 1 Peter 2:2

.

Why This Plan Works for New Believers

This plan divides the Bible into four clear sections, read in order throughout the year:

  1.  The New Testament – Start with Jesus and the Gospel
  2. The Psalms and Proverbs – Daily wisdom and worship
  3. The Old Testament (Law & History) – Understand God’s covenant and story
  4. The Prophets – Hear God’s voice to His people

Reading by section helps you:

  • Understand the big picture of God’s plan
  • Stay spiritually encouraged by beginning with Jesus
  • Build discipline with clarity and flow
  • Avoid confusion from jumping between books
